  1. JOB SUMMARY

The Order Fulfillment Specialist will work cross-functionally coordinating efforts between Scheduling, Material Planning, Warehousing and Manufacturing Operations in partnership with the Client Relationship Team to meet delivery commitments to clients. 

 

This position reports to the Senior Manager, Supply Planning and has no direct reports.  This position is a hybrid role - remote with two days per week onsite, as required.

 

  1. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Tracks client orders from receipt to delivery
  • Manages entry and maintenance of client orders in SAP and oversees invoicing
  • Expedites batches based on client supply, as needed
  • Supports client inventory management
  • Completes data analysis and KPI reporting for OTIF
  • Works closely with Form/Fill and Inspection/Packaging Production Planners to track and align scheduled production with client commitments
  • Provides direction for prioritization of raw material releases required to support production schedule with Material Planner
  • Tracks client-supplied raw materials and API to support production schedule
  • Leads Tier 2 Batch Release team to provide priorities for product batch release
  • Contributes to process improvement of the Order Fulfillment function

III. MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS

  • Bachelors degree in Project Management, Business or a related discipline.
  • 5 years cGMP experience in a biotech, pharmaceutical, or bio-pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, ideally pre-clinical phases through commercial
  • 5 years of experience working with FDA/EU and participating in regulatory agency inspections preferred
  • 3 years experience with SAP Sales + Delivery and/or Material Management/Planning
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel
  • Candidate must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and collaborative / facilitative skills
  • Very strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting with minimal supervision
  • Ability to make sound decisions regarding compliance-related issues with minimal supervision
  • High level of personal/departmental accountability and responsibility
