 This position is a new role focused on Governance and Planning reporting to the SVP Corp Strategy, Governance & Prod Portfolio Management.  Operating as a secretariat to Enterprise Governance Teams and an implementer by planning and coordinating prioritized operational, financial, and administrative activities.  An active member of the Corp Strategy, Governance & PPM Team, this position works across the enterprise to ensure planning and execution in accordance with our corporate operating plan and governance structures.

1.    In partnership with Corporate Strategy, coordinates COP participation in annual business objectives & COP goals
2.    Leads the work to coordinate COP Team planning calendar for key milestones, deadlines, events, meetings and workstreams
3.    Ensure timely and effective completion of key workstreams
4.    Maintains schedules and orchestrates meeting agendas for COP meetings
5.    May act as project lead on key Enterprise governance projects and initiatives
6.    Support SVP Corp Strategy, Governance & Prod Portfolio Management and staff with thought partnership and coordinate preparation of materials for meetings of senior leaders at the Company
7.    May manage staff

•    B.A. required (M.S. or M.B.A. preferred)
•    10+ years of work experience, with at least 5+ in pharmaceutical/biotechnology/life science industry
•    Strong Communication skills - clear verbal and written communicator, summarizes information succinctly, able to adapt communication to different audiences
•    Ability to effectively analyze options, and recommend prioritization decisions
•    Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders. Manages multiple internal relationships at all levels of the business. 
•    Strong ability to understand and define stakeholder information needs and translate these into clear actions
•    Experienced and skilled at achieving outcomes through influencing without authority, rather than direct supervisory authority
•    Courage and confidence to challenge the status-quo in the best interest of the Company
•    Highly organized and detail-oriented; PMP certified is a plus
•    Outstanding time management skills
•    Ability to build and lead effective cross-functional teams
