Job Summary

The Director, Treasury is responsible for key treasury activities that support the company’s financial operations, including cash management, banking, financing, investments, foreign exchange, financial controls, credit agreement reporting, financial modeling, and special projects. This role partners with senior management and cross-functional teams to communicate complex financial matters, improve treasury processes, and deliver analysis that supports effective decision-making.

Essential Functions

Cash and Banking

• Manage the company’s domestic and international bank account structure
• Ensure that sufficient funds are available at all times to meet company obligations
• Enhance and manage the cash flow forecasting process, analysis and reporting
• Manage letters of credit and bank guarantees
• Manage the opening, closing and maintenance of bank accounts globally
• Monitor banking fees and negotiate pricing with banks
• Analyze and optimize banking and financial services
• Provide direction, liaise and consult with other areas on cash management/Treasury issues (e.g. Tax, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, accounting)

Financing and Investments:

• Manage aspects of existing and new company financings (e.g. debt agreements and amendment requests, covenant and compliance reporting, etc.)
• Assist in analyzing debt instruments to meet company needs (structure/size/terms)
• Develop and maintain the company’s liquidity and investment policy
• Invest surplus funds in approved money market funds or other approved instruments
• Ability to model and analyze three statement forecasts, including scenario planning, and ability to communicate to executive level management and external financing parties

Foreign Exchange

• Identify, assess, and mitigate currency exposure through the implementation of natural hedging offsets or financial derivatives
• Support FX program development and make recommendations to management
• Execute FX spot transactions as needed
• Manage the posting of FX rates into SAP for financial reporting and transaction needs

Projects

• Initiate, develop, and lead projects within the Treasury function to enhance services, streamline procedures, and to ensure integrity of processes and data
• Work with cross-functional teams on projects and implement changes that serve a common company purpose
• Support M&A activity and lead Treasury integration for acquired entities

Other

• Ensure that Treasury SOX controls and governance are appropriate and adhered to
• Support internal and external audit requests
• Support the Senior Director and Assistant Treasurer with ad hoc request

Minimum Education, Experience, Skills 

• Bachelors degree required; Master’s Degree preferred
• 10+ years of relevant finance, banking, treasury operations, capital markets, or investment banking experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, communication, financial modeling, and presentation skills, with the ability to develop recommendations and communicate complex financial concepts clearly.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office tools required; SAP experience preferred.

U.S. Base Pay Ranges and Benefits Information

The estimated annual base salary as a new hire for this position ranges from [$192,500 to $233,000]. Individual base pay depends on various factors such as applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.  The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.  Certain roles are eligible for additional incentive compensation, including merit increases, annual bonus, [and/or long-term incentives in the form of stock options.]
