Lead Analyst, Treasury

I.    JOB SUMMARY 

The ideal candidate will assist the Director of Treasury with functions that support the daily operations of the Treasury Department.  The Lead Analyst - Treasury will assist with various work-flows critical to the financial operations of a global company such as: supporting the cash forecast process, contributing to global cash management strategy, monitoring and reporting cash balances, initiating funds transfers and FX trades. 

The Lead Analyst will assist in the management of the company’s bank accounts; opening, closing and adding banking products as required.  The Lead Analyst will assist with managing debt, letters of credits and creating Treasury policies.  The Lead Analyst is expected to learn and maintain all Treasury-related Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) audit controls and assist in providing internal and external Audit with required documentation for testing.  

II.    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

•    Supports the global cash forecast process; Leads the 13-month cash forecast process, and variance analysis.

•    Tracks the sources and uses of cash and be a subject matter expert on cash activity.

•    Monitors and initiates payments to support monthly and quarterly fees and debt service payments for short-term and long-term debt and maintains financial records.

•    Prepares high level compilations and analyses of various organizational data related to the management of cash in order to support initiatives and/or make recommendations to management related to best practices.

•    Supports the Director in managing the interest rate and foreign exchange derivative portfolio of the company.

•    Provides ongoing banking support to overseas programs in the areas of account replenishment, electronic payments, and account maintenance. Assists in administering international and domestic cash management services including account opening/closing, signature authorization, and account profile updates.

•    Reviews, initiates, and completes wire transfer requests to international and domestic partners and vendors; Monitors all transactions and follows up on investigation items.

•    Ensures compliance with Global Treasury internal control guidelines and policies.

•    Support Standby Letters of Credit and bank guarantees requirements.

III. MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS
•    Bachelor’s Degree required; CTP Certification preferred. 

•    8+ years of experience working in Treasury Operations or Global Cash Management.

•    Strong analytical and communication skills.  Ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, create reports and presentations, and make recommendations. 

•    A strong team player who can work on multiple projects and initiatives at the same time. 

•    MS Office experience is required, expertise in Excel and PowerPoint.  SAP proficiency preferred.  Familiarity with online banking systems preferred; PNC Pinnacle, JPMorgan ACCESS and Wells Fargo CEO experience is optimal.
