Talent Partner-Sourcing

Talent Acquisition is a vital part of Emergent and a key business partner in achieving our strategic business objectives. The Talent Acquisition/HR team works closely with employees and the leadership team to deliver a streamlined process and attract and hire top talent. The Talent Partner-Sourcing will support the sourcing of qualified candidates for openings across multiple business units and locations. Location for this role is flexible and there may be the opportunity for remote work. Specifically, s/he will be responsible for:
•    Implement, develop and maintain a pipeline of highly qualified candidates.
•    Effectively source passive candidates through various venues utilizing corporate applicant tracking systems, social media sites and campaigns, associations, and events
•    Work closely with Talent Partners and the business to develop proactive and innovative sourcing strategies 
•    Perform market research and provide expertise regarding best practices for recruiting and managing passive candidate pipelines
•    Maintain and report on sourcing related metrics as determined and required
•    Manage candidate process and act as candidate advocate. Evaluate skill level,and make recommendations to Talent Partners and other stakeholders. 
•    Assist with the development of passive and active recruiting programs, in partnership with the Talent Acquisition team and other stakeholders as needed. 
•    Work with Talent Partners to determine appropriate recruiting sources for advertising and posting positions. 
•    Promote the company brand and culture to candidates and external service providers. Network extensively in the marketplace to ensure we have access to the best and brightest talent 
•    Develop strong relationships with hiring teams, acting as a trusted advisor as it relates to the sourcing and candidate pipeline development.
•    Diversity Recruiting: Pursue a diverse mix of passive and active candidates as part of the overall sourcing strategy for positions.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

•    Serves as a strategic sourcing partner working closely with the Talent Team and other stakeholders to provide a consistent, innovative solutions to sourcing hard to fill positions
•    Develops and implements sourcing strategies for multiple locations and functions and works with Talent Partners to develop recruitment plans as needed. 
•    Educates Talent Partners on sourcing best practices and recruiting trends, and technology as needed
•    Sources, evaluates, and presents qualified talent for positions
•    Facilitates company diversity initiatives related to sourcing talent and has a focus on presenting diverse candidate slates 
•    Ensures that all sourcing activities are conducted within legal parameters and regulations, and are in accordance with internal policy
•    Supports university recruitment, co-op, and intern programs when applicable

MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS

•    Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred
•    5 - 10 years of progressive, related recruitment or sourcing experience required.
•    Experience sourcing for similar skill sets to what we recruit for is a plus 
•    Extensive experience with applicant tracking systems required 
•    Strong sourcing capabilities for both passive and active candidates
•    Experience interfacing at all levels within an organization 
•    Strong collaboration and project management skills
•    Excellent communication and presentation skills; 
•    Demonstrated ability to coach and influence; and identify, analyze, and solve problems
•    Demonstrates our core values and core competencies in day-to-day work
•    A strong sense of urgency when needed, high level of integrity and passion are a must.
•    Strong customer-oriented mindset 
•    Must have the ability and agility to work at a fast pace with high expectations in an ever-changing environment
