Job Summary
Reporting into the Sr. Director, Marketing, the Sr. Manager, Marketing is responsible for supporting the commercial growth of naloxone and NARCAN® Nasal Spray in the fight against overdose and addiction in Canada and the US.
This position will be pivotal in driving brand awareness, product adoption, and commercial growth by developing integrated campaigns that reach consumers through retail/e-commerce and organizations purchasing our products to protect their employees and customers.
This individual may be expected to support all Naloxone business drivers including Consumer Business, Retail, PIP, HCP and others. They will also be responsible for driving the brand plan for the current year and for the development and implementation of national strategic brand plan in collaboration with the Leadership Team, marketing, cross functional team, and external partners.
This position requires strong cross-functional leadership, a deep understanding of omnichannel marketing, and a proven ability to connect customer needs with business objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Act as product lead to drive alignment and enhance product value proposition for NARCAN® Nasal Spray/Kloxxado®, future pipeline, and life cycle strategies with a customer centric approach.
Retail, Consumer Business & E-Commerce Marketing
- Lead the development of national and regional OTC marketing strategies across major retail and online channels (e.g. CVS, Target, Walgreens, Amazon, Walmart).
- Oversee in-store promotions, e-commerce optimization, digital advertising, and conversion-focused campaigns.
- Execute consumer focused marketing strategies that build demand and support sales through distributors, retailers, and business partners.
- Drive the execution of high-impact retail programs in partnership with sales and shopper marketing teams.
- Lead end-to-end retail execution across marketing, ecommerce, pricing, and promotion, including oversight of the retail sales broker to deliver commercial performance across priority customers
Integrated Campaign Development
- Build and manage cross-channel consumer marketing campaigns that blend traditional and digital tactics, including paid media, content marketing, social, email, and PR.
- Ensure all messaging is aligned with brand strategy, audience insights, and FDA guidelines for OTC healthcare products.
Team & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Manage agency partners to ensure high-quality campaign execution and project delivery.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Sales, Regulatory, Commercial Operations, Medical Affairs, and Supply Chain to align marketing plans with business operations.
Analytics, Reporting & Optimization
- Set and monitor KPIs such as sales lift, market share, digital engagement, CAC, and ROI.
- Use performance insights and customer data to refine strategies and improve marketing effectiveness across Retail efforts and any overlap with other channels.
Other
- Execution and project management of enterprise level projects leveraging diverse portfolio of channels against customer segments.
- Develop strategy to support promotional material (as needed) and serve as marketing expert with the in-house Promotional Review Committee.
- Build and foster business relationships with key customers, distributors, businesses, consumers, community Indigenous nations and partners.
- Collaborate closely with field-based teams to identify insights and opportunities to optimize market positioning and penetration.
- Manage ongoing SOWs and budgets and ensure team is meeting projected spend.
- Align brand budget to forecast, latest estimate and future projections.
- Support and align to the national congress/conference planning process
- Responsible for business meeting planning and execution
- Drive collaboration with all cross functional partners, including Sales, Operations, Public Interest and Indigenous, Regulatory, Legal, Data Analytics, Government Affairs and Medical Affairs.
- This position may require local and overnight travel across North America (US/CAN) in fulfilling business needs (approximately 20-30%).

MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA strongly preferred)
- 7+ years of progressive experience in consumer and/or business marketing, with significant experience in OTC pharmaceuticals, health & wellness, or CPG
- Demonstrated leadership in both retail/e-commerce and/or business marketing environments. Experience in sales operations management in a retail setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of U.S. regulatory compliance related to healthcare marketing (e.g., FDA guidelines for OTC products) Proven track record of driving measurable business results through integrated, data-informed marketing
- Excellent leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to handle and lead multiple projects simultaneously, while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrates enthusiasm, strong initiative, and high sense of urgency with long term strategic mindset.
- Ability to lead through ambiguity, meet deadlines, and react swiftly to change and demonstrate a growth mindset.
- Strong collaborator who can communicate effectively with internal and external business partners to gain support and buy-in and can effectively leverage the strengths and skills of multiple and diverse business partners.
- Stellar written and oral communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas to various audiences, including senior leadership.
- High emotional intelligence with strong ability to listen and understand the perspectives of others to create a diverse and inclusive working environment.
U.S. Base Pay Ranges and Benefits Information
The estimated annual base salary as a new hire for this position ranges from $155,500 to $188,200. Individual base pay depends on various factors such as applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. Certain roles are eligible for additional incentive compensation, including merit increases, annual bonus, [and/or long-term incentives in the form of stock options.]
