I. JOB SUMMARY
Facility Resource Planning Manager’s job purpose is to oversee the campus maintenance planning and scheduling of maintenance activities as well as the SAP Plant Maintenance module administrator’s daily activities and cleaning.
II. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Manage the Facilities Resource Planning operations including but not limited to all campus Maintenance planning and scheduling activities, day-to-day oversight of Maintenance Planner/Scheduler personnel, TOA personnel and area Specialists.
• Participate in campus office space utilization planning.
• Participate in campus space planning.
• Manage the overall Notification and Corrective Work Order Backlog.
• Obtain supplies, parts and materials required to perform the work requested per SAP purchase requisitions.
• Establish performance standards and goals for both professional level and technician level employees.
• Responsible for all personnel issues (PTO, overtime, discipline, reward, team / personnel development) within the functional area.
• Ensure job kits are created and made available as scheduled in SAP, and ensure backlog is maintained within recommended quantity.
• Facilitate planning/scheduling meetings with area owners and ensure maintenance plans and task lists are built within SAP to support the execution of preventative maintenance activities.
• Support spare parts management continuous improvement.
• Ensure staff maintains up-to-date training.
• Evaluate current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) impact of systems when planning and scheduling repairs, and openly communicate impact with department management and ensure consensus for repair.
• Maintain a professional, courteous, respectful relationship with customers, act as a liaison between customer, planner and facilities execution, and maintain a positive feedback/customer satisfaction rating.
• Seek ways to increase operational efficiency and the conservation of company resources.
• Support campus manufacturing and non-manufacturing shutdowns. Prepare and conduct presentations to Leadership pertaining to shutdown planning and scheduling and departmental performance metrics.
• Must have knowledge and ability to oversee and/or perform all Quality System functions including:
o Deviations: the ability to initiate, investigate root cause analysis, assess impact, and implement durable corrective and preventive actions to prevent future deviating events with the same or similar root cause(s).
o CAPA System: the ability to utilize this Quality System to identify and implement continuous improvement corrective and preventive actions for system level improvements.
o Change Control System: the ability to identify and initiate changes through collaborative efforts with Quality Assurance and various departments in response to deviations, CAPA’s and departmental continuous improvement projects.
o Procedure Revisions: the ability to create new procedures and revise existing procedures including Preventive Maintenance, Calibration, as well as performing Biennial reviews of existing procedures.
o Audit Responses: the ability to investigate thorough root cause analysis, assess impact, and implement durable corrective and preventive actions to prevent future internal and external audit observations with the same or similar root cause(s).

III. MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or a related field preferred.
Experience
• 5 years experience within the Pharmaceutical / Biotech industry.
• 3 year of hands-on maintenance supervision or demonstrated leadership experience required.
• 3 years experience within the SAP Plant Maintenance Module.
• 2 years Project Management experience. Strong Project Management skills are essential.
Skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, and Excel.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Must have the ability to multi-task and coordinate workload by priority.
• Able to walk stairs and enter tight working spaces to fully assess planning requirements.
• Must be customer service and quality oriented.
• Should have a working knowledge of the following functions:
- Boiler House operations-tunnels, plant steam, plant vacuum.
- Critical Utilities Systems
Water for Injection (WFI) and Pre-treatment systems
Clean Steam systems
Clean Compressed Gas systems.
- Production Support Systems
Biological Safety Cabinets and Fume hoods
Sterilizing and Decontaminating Autoclaves
Glassware Washers and Parts Washers
Infrastructure Indirect Supporting Systems
HVAC systems-Air handling units
Chilled Water Systems
HEPA filter certifications to include Terminal Filter, In-Line, and Laminar Flow HEPA filtrations and Building Air Balance certifications.
- Plant Electricals-load centers, transformers, in-coming plant voltages and feeds.
- Equipment Life Cycles, Equipment Improvements and Reliability Program Concepts and Implementation.
- Coordination with Vendors to support projects, certifications, and training.
• Should have experience / knowledge of Reliability / Predictive maintenance and Statistical Process Control.
