Those who join Emergent BioSolutions feel a sense of ownership about their future. You will excel in an environment characterized by respect, innovation and growth opportunities. Here, you will join passionate professionals who advance their scientific, technical and professional skills to develop products designed-to protect life.

Conduct cell line development for recombinant proteins by designing, constructing, and evaluating expression vectors. Perform vector design, construction. Perform transfection or electroporation and single cell isolation and characterization to generate highly productive, high quality, robust cell lines that meet all regulatory requirements. Perform media and feed optimization to compare selected clones. Perform cell culture in shake flasks and small bioreactors to evaluate clones. Document experiments in details in lab notebooks. Lab equipment maintenance and trouble shooting. Draft batch records and standard operation protocols for process development and equipment operations. Summarize experiment in reports and present data within group and external stakeholders.
