6 Month Term Position


Emergent BioSolutions is currently seeking an Associate Analyst, Engineering, Validation & Facilities (EFV), at our Winnipeg Facility. The select candidate will have a degree or diploma in Business Studies/Administration, Finance, Information Technologies, Data Science or in another related discipline and will have 1-3 years of relevant work experience. Advanced experience with Smartsheets, Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and Visio is essential. Must be detail oriented with strong analytical skills and have the ability to work independently or as part of a team.  In addition, this individual will possess a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence and innovation.

Provide data-driven insights through business intelligence systems to support decision-making within the Engineering, Facilities, and Validation (EFV) department and align capital and resource allocation within the business budget. The Analyst will also coordinate initiatives for financial planning and business intelligence systems.




  • Provide analytical support to the EFV department by developing & maintaining Smartsheet dashboards and workflows
  • Update and maintain visibility dashboards, track budgets and budget forecast using Smartsheets, SAP & Integrated Financial Planning Software.
  • Provide recommendations based on data analytics to support business decisions.
  • Create workflows to visualize and streamline processes.
  • Monitor & report finance & quality metrics to leadership.
  • Support continues improvement initiatives by developing proper workflows, templates and standard work to streamline
  • Support resource planning initiatives
  • Support roll-out of standard suite of tools within organization & for sites; act as an SME & coach to ensure platforms are successfully integrated into business
  • Play a key role in the equipment life cycle and administration improvement by
    • Performing administrative updates in SAP to reflect current equipment status
    • Supporting facility resource planning and scheduling

  • Degree or Diploma in Business Studies/Administration, Finance, Information Technologies, Data Science, or a related discipline.
  • 1-3 years’ relevant work experience
  • Advanced experience with Smartsheets, Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Visio essential
  • Detail Oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Efficient time management skills



  • Citizenship/Permanent Resident or Valid Work Permit.
  • Successful Completion of a Criminal Record Check.
