Associate Specialist, Facilities Resource Planning

I: JOB SUMMARY
The Associate Specialist, Facilities, Resource Planning assesses incoming work from customer departments and integrates new requests with cycle driven tasks while maintaining quality service and compliance.  Verify availability of necessary parts, work with technicians and SME’s to conduct field assessments of work notifications to accurately assess and plan the work order, and procure parts as needed.  Build schedules for execution departments to efficiently utilize technician and SME skill sets.  This includes working with software and paper systems to document work performed according to Good Documentation Practice (GDP)

 

II: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

•    Serves as the principal contact and liaison between the EFV department and the customer departments served     by EFV and ensures that the applicable operations areas receive prompt, efficient and quality service from     the maintenance department. 
•    Responsible for the Notification and Corrective Work Order Backlog for assigned work centers.
•    Reviews and screens each work order in the SAP computerized plant maintenance management system. 
•    Ensures that the scope of work is clearly described, assesses the priority, and requested completion date     for realistic goals and discusses the details of requested work with originating department as necessary.
•    Performs in field assessments of work notifications (as required) to accurately assess and plan the work     order.
•    Plans and schedules preventive maintenance work in coordination with operations and maintenance     supervisors.
•    Obtain supplies, parts and materials required to perform the work requested per SAP
    purchase requisitions. 
•    Evaluates current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) impact of systems when planning and scheduling     repairs, and openly communicates impact with department management and ensures consensus for repair. 
•    Maintains a professional, courteous, respectful relationship with customers 
•    Should have the ability to perform the following Quality System functions:
o    Procedure Revisions: the ability to create new procedures and revise existing procedures including     Preventive Maintenance, Calibration, and Biennial reviews of existing procedures.
•    Takes initiative and works independently 
•    Able to confidently act as facilitator for repairs and projects.  
•    Understands work and provides recommendations in resolving issues.

III: MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS
•    HS Diploma/GED, 2 years of experience working in technical manufacturing operations  
•    Mechanical/Electrical background necessary and technical school background desired
•    Good administrative and organizational skills with willingness to handle paperwork
•    Prior experience with SAP preferred
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of programs
•    Excellent written and oral communication skills
•    Must have the ability to multi-task and coordinate workload by priority
•    Must be customer service and quality oriented 
•    Minimum 1+ years of experience with CMMS or ERP system(s) preferred
•    Prior cGMP experience is strongly preferred
